Hurricane Harvey Family in Need

Like so many others in Houston, TX my family lost everything they owned in the flooding caused by Hurricane Harvey.  My mother, brother, and niece live in Kingwood, TX, a suburb northeast of Houston. If you've been watching the news then you know how badly Kingwood has flooded from Harvey. Five feet of water got into their apartment. Luckily, they were staying with friends due to a power outage when water entered the apartment. However, that means they only took enough clothes for a couple of days and left all their important belongings behind. All their furniture, clothes, shoes, toys, electronics, pictures, books, appliances...almost everything left behind was destroyed. Only a few wall hangings and high sitting knick knacks were salvageable. 

My mom is a retired teacher of 40 years and my brother and niece have been living with her over the past year while they relocated to Kingwood. Her husband, my dad, passed away 1994 from cancer. Our mom has been strong and selfless for as long as I can remember. If you know her, you know how caring, opinionated, funny, and hard working she is. Please give what you can to help her replace her belongings, as well as my brother's and niece's things. We have a large goal, but we would greatly appreciate whatever you can give.
