I'm not sure I know where to start as I'm not one to ask for help. I'm a 41 year old single mother, currently raising my youngest daughter while also supporting my teenage son. While I often struggle, I make things happen. However, at this junction in my life, I'm struggling more than ever.

I was recently diagnosed with cervical cancer. I have no insurance due to a technicality. I recently missed nearly a full week of work, as I had a LEEP procedure to remove the vast majority of my cervix. It was then tested for margins, which were good. Unfortunately, the cells are aggressive and growing rapidly. My uterus is being affected now. I've been fighting this battle to prevent cancer for many years. My body just can't fight anymore. I've done biopsies, colposcopies, and epilations on a regular basis for years. It's just not enough at this point. My best option is to have a full cesarean hysterectomy. This procedure will put me out of work for an 8-week recovery. I've already fallen behind on my car, car insurance, and rental payments due to the frequent doctor appointments and procedures as of late. I've also racked up thousands of dollars in medical bills.

Starting a GoFundMe was suggested to me by a friend. She said that maybe it was time to swallow my pride and ask the masses for a helping hand. As I've put so much good into the world, maybe it's time for the universe to find a way to bring the good back to me in my time of dire need.

Anything helps me to take care of my little family and myself. I would be forever grateful for anything that helps me reach my goal.
