Fund us for WGI World Championship
Donation protected
In just a few short days from now, in April, the entire Mt. Juliet High School Indoor Percussion and Winter Color Guard, under the direction of Jason Palmer, Tim Vaughn, and Tony Cox, will journey to Dayton, Ohio for the 2015 WGI World Championships.
To many this is a once in a lifetime opportunity, and for all this a moment in time which these students will remember and cherish forever. For the Mt. Juliet High School Band Booster Club to take two large groups made up of students, staff, and instructors on a trip like this is very expensive. Costs involved include instruments, costumes, lodging, transportation, practice facilities, entry fees, props, and of course lots of food to feed our growing teenagers.
The students have rehearsed countless hours preparing for this once in a lifetime event. It means the world to them to be perfectly in sync with one another, as well as to play and perform accurate and precise music. It matters to them to be able to bring home a Medal from WGI World Championships.
Will you help us to make this journey?
Your donation will make a dream come true for a high school student that has worked hard perfecting the Sport of the Arts, and enhance their overall educational experience in their years at Mt. Juliet High School.
Both groups are very strong contenders. The Winter Color Guard and Indoor Percussion have both scored 1st place at several SCGC and WGI competitions across the Mid South region since the season began in 2015. We know we can bring it home at WGI WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPS in Dayton , Ohio.
We humbly and thoughtfully appreciate your generous donation. Please feel free to contact us directly if you need further assistance in funding us, or have any specific questions. We are a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. Your donation may be tax deductible, please consult your tax professional.
