Andrew’s Army

The Gatto family needs our help! Their son Andrew is a sweet young man who is 15 years old and battling cancer again. Andrew was first diagnosed with Rhabdomyosarcoma at 10 years old. He underwent numerous rounds of chemo and radiation and spent the majority of his time in and out of the hospital in London and Windsor. He remained in the clear until January of 2017 when another tumour was found, his second battle. In May of this year during a routine scan they learned their nightmare had resurfaced as Andrew would battle cancer for a third time. An MRI had found a lesion in Andrew’s ankle and the PET scan found another in his femur. They have decided to take the naturopath option which includes cannabis, and it has helped. Andrew is in the care of a naturopath in Windsor as well as a naturopath and medical doctor in Toronto who runs a successful private cancer clinic. These treatments also come with a hefty price tag. Andrew has suffered intense mental and physical pain during these last 5 years. He’s missed out on school, hanging out with friends and his childhood. Although stressful Andrew has maintained a positive attitude and is trying to remain strong for this fight. We “Andrew’s Army” need your help to continue this fight.
