Unfortunately, bad things happen to good people. On June 28th, 2021  Alik was diagnosed with stage 3 Nasopharyngeal Cancer. This came as a complete shock as he had a primarily healthy up bringing. Alik didn't have any bad habits. He had been a gym rat from an early age and worked hard on keeping his body in shape and healthy. His doctors were quite surprised that he ended up with such a rare and aggressive cancer considering his age and lifestyle.

 

We are doing all that we can to beat this cancer and prolong Alik's life, but we need your help to do so. As you know the medical industry is a big money grab and treatments for his cancer can cost up to twelve thousand dollars a month. Even with insurance there are still additional costs to cover treatments. With Alik being unemployed and unable to work due to his growing tumors we humbly ask you to donate what you can so that we can cover treatments, medical bills, cost of food, rent, and anything else that he will need taken care of so that we can stay focused on his healing.

 

We are hopeful that we can shrink the cancer and have Alik back to normal. It would be a lie if  said we weren't scared, but we will push through. There is so much more life for Alik to live and we claim that he will live it! Alik's team of doctors and healers are working diligently to get him on a regimen that will have the best outcome. LIFE BEFORE DIAGNOSIS

Alik was born in Ukraine, but has also lived in Russia and Cyprus. As a kid he helped out with his family's farm while also training in Karate. He graduated at 15 and began studying law at the local university. He continued his education in Moscow where he started a business with his father. During that time Alik began taking dance classes and eventually ended up performing and competing as a dancer. He has placed top 3 in several competitions in a few different countries. In 2015 Alik moved to the US where he worked as an entertainer and model. In  2017 he met his wife at a local gig. They have gone on to perform and compete together and have been seen on TV showcasing their talents. During their honeymoon in Hawaii Alik fell in love with surfing and made it a point to go as often as possible. He did so at home in Los Angeles and on their trips to Indonesia, Costa Rica, and Mexico.
During the pandemic Alik picked up a camera and began his videography and editing career. Using his wife as his muse he was able to quickly gain the skills necessary to produce great content. He has shot and edited music videos, weddings, live events, and more. When that work was slow he would drive for delivery service apps. He refuses to be stagnant and will always find a way to work. Alik's passion to be successful is truly admirable.

Alik loves to travel and is saddened that his condition keeps him from doing so. His love for travel and thrills lead him to began taking piloting lessons. Earlier this year Alik completed his flight school training and became a licensed private pilot. It was around that time that he noticed some issues with his ear that he assumed was caused by pressure while flying or swimmers ear from surfing. He visited a few doctors that weren't able to fully diagnose his problem. It wasn't until he went home to visit his family in Ukraine that a doctor suggested the root cause of his ear issues was not from his ear at all. He was treated for the inflammation there and upon taking a scan of his head a tumor was found high in his nasal passage that was blocking his eustachian tube which explained the ear trouble. At this time the lymph nodes in his neck began swelling. Once he came back to the states he did several tests and biopsies and it was determined that he did in fact have cancer.
