Hannah is still in Vanderbilt and is doing good. The lungs took she is healing. They have not moved her to a private apt in Vandy yet. But she is on the road to recovering. She does not get to return to us for another 3-6 months. This girl amazes me more than anyone can ever know. She is always smiling and joking no matter what is going on. Please cont to share please if able to donate for her. Please continue prayers for her.
Hi my name is Krisi Harris Kitt, myself and others are trying to raise money for one of the most beautiful and strong person I have ever known, Hannah Klein. Hanna is 33 years old and was going into transplant surgery 8/18/23, at Vanderbilt. It was cancelled last minute due to the lungs of the donor not passing testing. She will be there in the ICU until the transplant happens.
**** UPDATE****
1st transplant did not take place on 8/18/23 the lungs were not good so Hannah is still waiting on lungs keep praying for her!!!!
She has been ill, for such a long time but she tries to always keep it together always beautiful and always working. This girl has even worked from the hospital bed at Vanderbilt. She has a rare condition called Pulmonary Arterial Hypertension (PAH). She has lived with central line for meds 24 hours a day hooked to a portable transfusion pump. This condition leads to heart strain and she has right sided heart failure. She ended up back in Vandy over a week ago after going to the doctor because her oxygen was dangerously low. She was in bad shape with a lot of touch and go scary nights. They thought she may also need a liver and heart transplant but her liver came back good and her heart they feel the right side is strong enough to heal. Hanna h will have to live in an apt in Nashville for 3-6 months once out of the hospital per rules of transplant . Good news if this works Hannah will have her life back no more meds no more IVs etc. she will be able to breathe travel and have a full life.
History on Hannah. She is a licensed clinical social work and she worked with FBRH for 10 years with children, adults and Crisis as a therapist. Hannah recently took a new position with another company and is a clinical supervisor and carries a caseload. She loves her old company as well as her new. Unfortunately because the career change was so recent she is unable to do FMLA and cobra is going to be expensive. She is out of PTO from being off the last 1-2 weeks. So she will have no insurance and no income and will be off work for a at least 4 months. Despite the compassion and support her current employer has shown, like everyone she will have expenses. We want to raise as much as we can for her. She is a from Paducah ky and she has always supported the local businesses and people. She would give the shirt off her back to anyone who needs it. Please if you are able to donate this beautiful kind sweet girl needs it. The last thing she needs is stress to not lose her car her home and everything else while she is trying to recover.
Thank you in advance and GOD bless you all!
