Im a mother of 4 and a grandmother of 7. I was placed on the Kidney Transplant List on September 28th 2023. I will be needing extra money to pay for some of my medical bills that will arise. Im asking for $10,000 but truthfully ANYTHING is greatly appreciated. A kidney transplant alone not including hospital stay or medication is from $80,000 to $100,000. I have Autosomal Dominant Polycystic Kidney Disease also known as ADPKD. This Disease SOMETIMES skips generations but my daughter Thalia Southepmany also has it but is doing ok 4 now. Since my Kidney Disease is Dominant/Hereditary I am unable to receive a kidney from family as I will get the disease again later in life. My Nephrologist has told me that my left kidney is 16 inches large and my right is 18 inches large. They are both severe with the cysts filled with fluid and others filled with blood. My parathyroid is also dangerously high n I was put on Calcitriol to help with my bones n vessels. I have cysts in both breasts, ovaries, kidneys of course and my liver which is now enlarged as the cysts have spread onto my other organs. I lost my husband 1 year ago. I was with my husband since I was 15 years old, and October 19th 2022 I lost my husband of 37 years to Cirrhosis of the Liver. This has also put more strain on my health. I will need more lab work done until I reach my Dialysis. I have 20% Kidney Function right now. I will need to make another GOFUNDME for an actual Donor, as the list is ridiculously long and I might not be able to wait.
