My little sister was recently diagnosed with thyroid cancer. As if 2020 couldn’t get any worse right?!?

This diagnosis has shook our entire family to its core.

Mary Jo is the free spirit of the family and the back bone to her own little family.  She has always been the one to go to with anything you needed, and would give the shirt off her back if she needed to. She doesn’t ask for help, for ANYTHING and might kill me for setting this up! ‍♀️  She is not able to work due to her now compromised immune system, and I would love to help raise money for her medical bills and her family during this time. She has a very supportive husband, and three of the most amazing kids! Not to mention her army sized family that is ready to fight this fight with her! 

She has already been through surgery to have her entire tyroid removed. They also had to remove 10-11 of the surrounding lymph nodes. During the surgery, they found that the cancerhad spread into the lymph nodes in her chest and will begin radiation treatment September 4th. This will be so difficult for her, as she will have to be separated from her family due to the dangers of radiation exposure. She has never been awayfrom her kids this long! Let’s show MJ how much she is loved, and that we have her back!
