Miyah's Stanford Medical Program

Hello...My name is Miyah Rivas. I am a sophomore at Colton High School. I was recently nominated as well as accepted to go to Advanced Emergency Medicine in Collaboration with Stanford Medical School. As you know this is a huge accomplishment for me. Over my years I have been inducted into the National Jr Honor Society, Captain of my Knowledge Bowl team, and recently the National Honor Society. I have kept a high GPA since middle school. I am also going to be graduated a year ahead of class to get started on my dream career of being a Trauma/ Emergency Medicine Doctor. This Program is my gateway into pursuing my dreams. I will come out of this program a step ahead and be certified in basic life support. Going to Stanford after living in a small town like Colton is a dream. As you can imagine it is very expensive. I will be taking part in a ten day hands on experience program with the chance to work in a code blue situation. This program is $5,500 and I could really use some help on getting there. I have to have my money in by May 31st to participate.  Anything you can give is a great help and I will be very appreciative for it. Thank you for helping me make my dream come true.
