Produce a mixtape to celebrate 50 years of Hip Hop

August 11, 1973, Clive 'Kool Herc' Campbell was mixing vinyl of reggae, soul, and funk during the “Back To School” block party organized by his sister, Cindy. Kool Herc became the first DJ in history, and Coke La Rock the first MC (Master of Ceremony).

Hip Hop was born on that day in the Bronx. This new culture was built around five founding elements: deejaying, MCing, beatboxing, dance, and graffiti.

Together, let's bring our stone to the building, with the creation of a Hip Hop mixtape produced on vinyl and signed by the artists.

My name is Adrien and I have always been passionate about Hip Hop. Thanks to Rap, I was able to meet my current friends through the Rap Franquette events that I organized in Barcelona. It also allowed me to launch, last May, my music label The Rose Production to help independent artists make a living from their music.

This mixtape for the 50th anniversary of Hip Hop is my way of giving back to this culture that taught me so much. From 1973 to 2023, Hip Hop is the strongest culture nowadays. Carrying out a musical project that brings together talented artists around me is a real source of pride.
