We are Team Quintero-Abreu representing Curling Mexico. The team is composed by Estefana Quintero & Ismael Abreu and our coach Brian Cole.

Our goal is to earn a spot for the coming 2022 Winter Olympics. Our first test is the Pre-Olympic Qualifier Event next October 2021 in Erzurum, Turkey.

Our journey is completely self-financed, and we're looking for benefactors who believe in our journey.

All funds raised will go towards paying costs associated to the team's travel and lodging, equipment and other competition related expenses.

We are also looking for partners to help us achieve this goal and many more in the future! Contact us and we will happily tell you more about us!

The team is composed of Estefana Quintero & Ismael Abreu and our coach Brian Cole.

Estefana is originally from Mexico. She has been curling for the past 3 years both at a club and competitive level.

Ismael is originally from Mexico. He has been curling for the past 5 years at a club level and at a competitive level for the last 3 years.

Brian is originally from Canada. He has * experience coaching a variety of teams, including teams participating in Provincial Level Competitions in BC.* He is a curling enthusiast as well as a club and competitive player.

Both Estefana and Ismael have WCF competitive experience. Playing front end on their respective men and women teams, they both won silver at the 2019 Americas Challenge (Eveleth, MN, USA) . This achievement earned their teams a spot at the 2020 World Qualifier (Kisakallio Sports Institute, Lohja, Finland), an opportunity that lead them to fine-tune their curling goals.Ismael and Estefana discovered they shared similar individual and team goals! Despite the challenges of the pandemic, in 2020 they decided to join forces!. They have the advantage of both living in Vancouver, where they train, play and prepare together, on and off the ice, with the help of their amazing coach Brian Cole. Together, they're preparing to meet the challenges of WCF Mixed Doubles Competitions.
