I knew I had to find a new profession and most of all I knew I had to find one that I had a passion for otherwise why bother? It was one sunny day when I was out walking with my girl Sasha my now nine-year-old Bouvier des Flandres rescue when the light bulb went off in my head and nearly blinded me
Of course why didn't I think of this before, dogs are my greatest passion in life and always have been and I just knew that working with dogs was my life long dream and something I had to do.
Well after researching many career paths, many different schools and really searching within myself what exactly I would like to achieve by working with dogs here I am.
I volunteer at the county animal shelter, which taught me just how many dogs, end up in shelters all across the country simply because of behavioral problems their humans can't deal with. I want more than anything in life to be a person who can facilitate solutions to these problems and keep our beautiful canine friends from being abandoned or even worse killed.
The school I have chosen is the "Animal Behavior Institute" and the winter semester starts in the first week of January. The link to the institute web site is: www.animaledu.com
The course I have chosen is "Canine Training & Behavior". I could use any help you might choose to extend to me in order to cover all the tuition fees, I can manage most of it and the text books but am just coming up a little short on the whole amount. No amount is too small and would mean the world to me, the dogs and the people I get to help. I thank you in advance and wish you well.
