Please help Mittens, Mammy and her four babies

My name is Deborah and I volunteer with Feline Friends Sunderland, Registered Charity No. 1123180. We rescue, rehabilitate and rehome cats who desperately need our help.

Right now we have two particularly urgent cases.

Mittens is 13 years old and has nose cancer. He is a very nervous little soul and needs veterinary treatment, with possible surgery and ongoing medication and aftercare. We may even need to sedate him to get him safely to the vets for treatment. We don’t yet know exactly what lies ahead for Mittens, but we want to give him every chance we possibly can.

At the same time, we are caring for a mammy cat and her four tiny kittens. They came into rescue riddled with fleas and suffering from cat flu. They need treatment, careful monitoring, warmth, nutritious food and lots of TLC while they recover.

As they grow and recover, there will be further veterinary costs, including flea and worm treatment, vaccinations and spaying/neutering when appropriate.

We currently have around 60 cats in rescue, so everyday essentials such as cat food, kitten food and litter are also a huge expense.

Every penny raised through this fundraiser will benefit Feline Friends Limited and help us provide veterinary treatment and essential care for the cats in our rescue, including Mittens, Mammy and her babies.
