Hi all, my name is Katie, and I am 23 years old. I created this gofundme to try and raise enough funds to pay for my sweet rooster Mittens to get the surgery he needs.

He has suffered from what we believe is a broken leg, and the vet has estimated a minimum of $500 for just the consultation and X-rays alone. He is a very sweet boy with loads of personality, but I simply cannot afford his vet bills alongside my other expenses, and it is looking like the only other option for this sweet boy is to be put to sleep.

I have had him since a fragile little chick, and he is such a gentle soul, who deserves life as much as any other.
