Hi everyone! This is my little girl, Mitsy. She is just 4 years old and already has to undergo an extensive procedure. She began drooling in February and would RUN away from food and water and to top it off her breath smelled HORRIBLE. When I took her to the vet in March they told me that she has something called stomatitis. According to the vet, stomatitis is a more severe form of oral inflammation than gingivitis. Stomatitis is often very painful, causing a decreased appetite or difficulty eating. Weight loss may occur. My little girl went from weighing 7lbs in March 14th to now weighing almost 5lbs. Although I do work, I don't make enough to cover even half of the cost of the procedure. To make matters even worse, they want me to pay for it all in full. I've already tried giving her medication and steroid injections but they told me that extractions are the only thing that will help her. I feel bad seeing my little one not being able to eat because of this condition. I give her soft food and even then she'll still struggle to eat that.
