Mitchell Palmer of Hawkins

My name is Sharonda Harguess. I am writing this on behalf of my bonus son, Joshua Palmer, and his brother, Tristan Mathews.

On Friday, March 28th, their father, Mitchell Palmer, was brutally murdered at his home in Hawkins. Mitchell was unarmed and home on a day off due to expected rain.

This GoFundMe is being made to aid the family with all of the unexpected expenses that have arisen and to help support his minor son, Tristan, during this difficult time. Mitchell was the backbone of his entire family; not only did he support his boys, he also took care of anything that his parents, sisters, or nieces and nephews needed. Mitchell was a man of many talents.

The family is currently in the process of making arrangements. But due to the manner of how he died, the family will first have to wait on Mitchell to be returned home to them.

Any amount that you are willing to donate is helpful and appreciated. But I also ask everyone to please pray for this family. They have a very long road ahead of them of healing. And I pray in the end, the road will lead them to be comforted by JUSTICE FOR MITCHELL!!

Due to the shooter being an ex in-law of the family and the possibility of mental illness being a contributing factor to this murder, this is all I am willing to say at this moment. We are a very small town, so I also ask for privacy and consideration of all involved in this matter.
