Mitchell Fight Fam WKC World Championships Portugal 2024

After an amazing experience representing Scotland in Florida in 2023 The Mitchells have qualified again for the WKC world championships in Portugal.

We returned home from the WKC 2023 world championships with 3 bronze medals and one world champion! Our hope is to add to this in Portugal.

We are so lucky to have a shared passion as a family for Kickboxing. It is literally our life! When we aren’t training or competing we are most likely talking about kickboxing. It is a privilege to be able to train together and support each other, embracing our competitive nature.

We started our kickboxing journey 9 years ago when Oliver was five followed by Craig, then Brooke and Laura started during lockdown. Craig and Brooke are 2nd Dan black belts and Oliver a junior blackbelt. Oliver and Craig are working towards their next black belt grading in the summer. Laura is creeping ever closer to her black belt too.

Kickboxing has given us the opportunity to travel Scotland and the UK competing and now worldwide. The kids have shared the mats with some of the most talented fighters our sport has to offer and not looked out of place. The memories we have so far we will cherish our entire lives and with your help hopefully we can create more.

Kickboxing is not a funded sport, the cost of travel, competing and accommodation can quickly add up for a family of competitors. We are looking to raise funds for our trip to Portugal to help with this.
