A Miracle for Mitch
Donation protected
Mitch has been a friend for 25+ years. During those 25 years we have been business partners, worked on projects together, golfed and discussed every Bible topic you can think of! Mitch is the kind of friend that is always willing to lend a helping hand, and drop everything to help a friend! I want to help him out during this difficult time.
Mitch's health struggles started in the Spring of 2019. He was having severe pain in his bladder. When the doctors did a scan they found a huge mass in his Kidney. The two issues were not related so it was a blessing in disguise to have the bladder issues as the kidney mass would not have been found. They determined he had stage 3 Kidney Cancer. Due to the size of the mass they felt it was best to have it removed. From there he was to follow every couple of months for a new scan to see if there were anymore signs of it coming back or if it would spread to other organs. The most common places are the lungs and liver.
After his first scan they found spots on his liver and lungs. After his second scan we were told that both the spots on the lungs and liver had grown. He is now in Stage 4.
To treat the cancer Mitch was given two options. One being a very aggressive treatment called IL-2. He would be hospitalized for a week getting a treatment every 8 hours up to 14 doses depending on how long his body can handle it and doesn't shut down or cause other issues.
Mitch has been through 2 rounds of these aggressive treatments, and is going in for a third round. He has been a STRONG fighter through all of this! We are praying in confidence that this treatment will be a success and he will be cancer free!
There are many expenses that go along with this treatment including medical expenses, and extended periods of time off work. We are asking if you would like to help Mitch out with a donation to help with all the added expenses so that is something he does not have to worry about!!
