Mitch Rose's Cancer Journey

As we have recently found out Mitch has been diagnosed with bowel cancer. Setting this up to show support for my best mate and to help raise money for all the medical bills, lose of income and struggles that he may encounter along his journey.

Hey all,

I’ve received the results from my PET scan. I have early stage cancer. For people who don’t know if that’s good or bad, it’s very good. It means the only cancerous lump I have on my entire body is the one they found the other day in my bowel.

Surgery to have that part of my bowel removed will still go ahead on the 16th.

I just want to say thank you to everyone who has reached out to me to send their love and support. It has been the most stressful and tiring 72 hours of my life. Hearing all the nice things said from close friends, people who I haven’t seen or heard from in a long time, people I’ve only met a couple times, to people I’ve never even met. All the wonderful words said and the effort you all took out of your busy days to send me positive vibes was truly overwhelming.

Lastly to my 3 best mates Daniel Steen, Jake Kennedy, & Jarrod Brown, for going out of their way and creating a gofundme page to help with my medical bills. I have no words to explain how grateful I am, especially to everyone who was gracious enough to donate. Money is always a thing I stress about. With the amount of stress I have at the moment this really has help put my mind at ease a little. Thank you all so much ❤️

There’s still a bit of work to be done, but hopefully that’s the last we ever see of this disgusting disease.
