Mitch Innocent’s Funeral Service

Update: Thank you everyone for donating. Given this was unexpected, we didn't have any idea how costly the services would be. We want to give Mitch the proper send off which means granting all of his final wishes. With that, we raised the final goal to reflect the cost for the funeral services, church services, and mausoleum.

My name is Sabrina and I started this GoFundMe to help support the funeral expenses for my little brother Mitch Innocent. All donations are being sent directly to me to cover costs for my brother’s arrangements.

A few weeks ago, we celebrated my brother Mitch at his college graduation. Now, we must lay him to rest. We are devastated.

Mitch was a quiet, bright, and kind person. Like many new graduates, he was looking forward to his future. With a Bachelor's degree in Homeland Security from the University of Albany, he aspired to work in intelligence or cybersecurity. He always spoke about looking out for others. We will never see his dreams come to fruition because he was ripped away by a senseless act of violence.

Mitch was an innocent bystander in a Brooklyn shooting on Thursday, June 26th. His death was unexpected, and no one could have ever predicted our Mitch, only 21 years old, would be a victim of gun violence. Without him, our family will never be the same.

He was everything to his mother, father, and older sister. Mitch was taken away from them too soon. Please help me in raising funds for his funeral service.
