Mitch Clemons - Support for Family

On Monday morning, 10/5/20, we were informed that one of our fellow co-workers, Mitch Clemons, fell ill over the weekend. He was diagnosed with a rare disorder called Guillain-Barre syndrome. This disorder causes your body's immune system to attack your nerves.  His condition advanced rather quickly. On Friday night (10/2/20) he started having mild symptoms which included tingling in his hands and feet. By Saturday he started having numbness in his arms and legs, so he got himself to the emergency room that day. By Sunday he was in the ICU and lost the ability to use his arms and legs, and now having trouble breathing.  As of today, 10/6/20, Mitch has been intubated, sedated and is currently being closely monitored for progression of the syndrome. Doctors have informed his family that his case is very severe and will likely get worse before it gets better. You can imagine how difficult this is for Mitch, his wife Melissa and 6 month old son, Mason. This took their family completely by surprise and we want to do everything we can to help them during this time.  Mitch is a very caring person who goes beyond just being a co-worker. He always take the time to ask how you are and really care enough to listen to your response. Knowing what type of person Mitch is, if this was one of us in this situation, he would be doing everything he could to help! So, let's do the same for him and his beautiful family!  All funds will be going directly to Mitch and his family to help alleviate any financial burdens they may face during this time and help cover their day to day living expenses.
