Mitch Bright - Memorial Contributions
Spende geschützt
Mitch Bright was a loving husband, father, grandpa, brother, uncle, cousin, and friend. He was a coach, a mentor, a colleague, and a second father for so many. He spoke about his faith with joy and hope. He loved to take long drives with his wife, Diane; tell stories and jokes with his brothers and cousins; watch birds with his grandson; give guidance to his children; fish with friends; hunt with his brother; host movie nights; and make music with his son-in-law and countless musicians. He looked forward to big family dinners, birthday parties, and the happy chaos of a Christmas Eve with 9 young grandchildren.
Mitch Bright fell asleep in the Lord suddenly while at home on Saturday, November 28, 2020 at the age of 62. He lived in Hobart, Indiana; graduated from Griffith High School; and worked as a computer specialist for the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab in Chicago, Illinois. He was a devout Orthodox Christian, who adored his family and cherished his friends. He enjoyed the beauty of God’s creation, especially wildlife.
Mitch is lovingly remembered by his wife of 40 years, Diane; children Allison (Michael) Urbanczyk, Michelle (Darris) Harrell, and Seth; grandchildren Bailey, Jack, Evy, Aiden, Paige, Olivia, Graham, Emerson, and Dane; and brothers Greg (Carol), Jeff (Kate), and Dan. Mitch will also be forever remembered by his numerous cousins, extended family, and dear friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Murland and Gloria.
A private family funeral will be held at Descent of the Holy Ghost Orthodox Church in Merrillville, Indiana with Fr. Alin Munteanu officiating. We invite the public to attend virtually by visiting the Descent of the Holy Ghost Orthodox Church Facebook page on Sunday, December 13, 2020 at 2:00 pm, Central Time. A video will also be available afterward through the website of Moeller Funeral Home in Valparaiso, Indiana at www.angelcrestinc.com. Interment will take place on Monday, December 14 at Angelcrest Cemetery in Valparaiso, Indiana. A gathering of family and friends will be arranged at a later date after local restrictions related to COVID-19 are lifted.
