Mitch and I have been together for 16 years and have been trying to start a family for about 11 years. It's been a stressful, emotional struggle but we're not ready to give up. Our fertility doctor has recently diagnosed me with PCOS (polycystic ovary syndrome) and he is recommending IVF (in vitro fertilization) for our situation. This is going to be a lot of work as we start testing and I begin medications, daily hormone injections and many blood tests, ultrasounds and doctors visits.
