Many of you may or may not know, but our daughter Mitasia has been attending an early intervention program through Teen Challenge at the Columbus Girls Academy in Seale, Alabama since the beginning of the year. She has been enrolled in school, keeping up with her academic studies, and receiving excellent soul and spiritual rehabilitative care while attending. She is making great progress and Michele and I are excited to share with all of you a great opportunity to help out Mitasia with completing her 15 month program and also help with mission programs organized by Columbus Girls Academy. An example of a mission trip that she was selected to participate in is the New York School of Urban Ministry.
The team that Columbus Girls Acadamy is sending will be joining with the New York School of Urban Ministry (NYSUM). The NYSUM instructors will provide practical urban missions training and then lead Mitasia's team at the various outreaches.
Some of the ministry opportunities and activities Mitasia and the rest of her team will be participating in are as follows:
-Soup kitchens throughout NYC
-Prayer walks to Ground Zero
-Outreach to children's
-Visit to Brooklyn Tabernacle Church
We would be so enormously appreciative if you would join with us in lifting Mitasia's recovery up in prayer and financially partnering with us for her continued spiritual growth, completion of her program and her upcoming missions opportunities. Michele and I believe that one of the best ways you can help your own situation is to have the opportunity to help others, and we are excited that Mitasia will get to participate in these ministries. Please pray about joining us to help lift up and support our daughter Mitasia in this exciting season of hope and restoration!
