I am writing you because I got offered a chance of a lifetime to get trained amongst the brightest in the world in a technology bootcamp offered by MIT.

I have an issue to pay the tuition. The amount I have saved all my life cannot grant me 20-30% of the tuition ($8.5k) not even accounting for airplane and accommodation. In addition, I am using my savings as working capital to finance my start-up for the next two months. 

I have messaged the MIT Bootcamp Program Coordinator and his team and have found out that they do not provide any financial aid for this bootcamp. They granted me an exceptional 14 days extension though to try and secure the tuition before the 29th of May, 2019.

Since my team and I are very close to providing a full-stack solution to solve a big part of food waste globally, feed thousands of underfed and create less damage to the environment (Between 33-50% -weight of the Manhattan island yearly- of all food produced globally is never eaten, our potential platform could contribute in saving up to $120 Bn worth of food). This program would be perfect to launchpad us in the right direction.

Words enough can’t express how much I want to and have dreamt on joining this bootcamp, and how much it could benefit my team and I (specially at this stage of our start-up), potentially hundred of thousands of people and the environment.

I am currently doing everything it takes to finance this, by sponsorship, applying for scholarship and seeking out support from philanthropists.

- Amount: $5.5K +plane ticket + accommodation  (already raised $3k)

I have previously received scholarships from the Lockheed Martin to study abroad at UC Berkeley and lead the first place team winner of the Fulbright Young Entrepreneurs in Science and Engineering Competition, at the National Research Center in Cairo.
