Misty's Urgent Plea: Dante Held by ICE

My name is Crystal and I am trying to help my sister, Misty Rivera, and my brother-in-law (her husband), Dante Rivera. Dante was born in the Philippines but came to the US in 1997. At that time, he received his green card. He and my sister have been married for 21 years, and they have 3 amazing kids together.

Dante took a trip back to the Philippines to visit his family, and upon his return to SeaTac, ICE detained him. He has been locked in this facility since Sunday. My sister is trying everything possible to do whatever she can to get her husband home. She and her kids miss him and want him back. She needs an immigration lawyer, which costs on average $10,000. He has every right to be here just like everyone else! We as a country have to do better. There are innocent people being detained for weeks and months, unsure of their future! Please help if you can; if unable, then please help by sharing. We need to spread the word and help. Don't wait until it affects you personally. Dante has a wife and 3 kids waiting for him to come home.

Dante went to court and they denied him bail. Tomorrow Misty has a consultation with a lawyer. WE DESPERATELY NEED HIM HOME. He is not receiving the correct amount of medication that he needs for his heart. Misty got to visit him and seen his ankles were very swollen. Please help in any way possible! Every penny and share

Misty just got word that Aunty's Lynn is being realeased frim the ICE detention center! The same facility Dante is being held at. Thank you so much EVERYBODY who has donated to help her get a lawyer. We have a long ways to go the more you share their story the better of a chance she'll have to getting her husband home. At this point it looks like he might miss his youngest son graduate high school. What a huge milestone for both him and his son. For what??? Because he was not born in the US, BUT has a greencard. Please continue to share!!

Dante is personally named in the message. Along with another legal resident. Please let's keep this going. Dante has court June 25th!!!! Thank you for EVERYTHING you guys donated to help reunite my family!!!

UPDATE!!!! Dante has been released!!!! Thank you everyone who took the time to read and share our story and especially who donated. Everything was very much appreciated! There are still lots of people that are being hunted down and detained. Let's not stop the fight. Show your support by showing up and being heard against ICE!
