Misty's Tragic Loss-Her One True Love aka Old Man

This Gofundme is being set up by Misty's Aunt Jeannie & Aunt Joannie. Our niece Misty Cook, unexpectedly lost her rock, her knight in shining armor, her husband Matthew. A veteran and true patriot Matt honorably served his country as a soldier in the United States Marine Corp. After getting out of the corp he chose to continue to serve his country by serving in Afghanistan with the Army National Guard.

Matt was often gone from home working and Misty was always delighted in seeing him pull up in his truck. While away from home working in Washington State, he suffered a massive heart attack.

As soon as Misty was notified she traveled to be by his side unsure of what the coming hours would bring. Matt was removed from life support today Friday, July 2nd, and peacefully passed away while in Misty's arms.

The funds from this account will be used to help with hospital expenses and give Misty time to figure out how to move forward without Matt by her side.
