Misty's Road to Recovery: A Costly Path

Hello all! My name is John Reeves. I run LORE Motorcycle Education, a school that coaches students of the importance of safety and practice in learning to ride a motorcycle. Misty Mellor is an avid motorcyclist, AND one of our Rider Coaches. It is no easy task to become one either. Misty took on the challenge and like all motivated people, continues to improve her skills.

While helping with a fireworks display during the fourth of July weekend, she was involved in a malfunction of a 5" mortar. She was life flighted to MaineMed for surgery and recovery. The burns rehab will be lengthy and painful and expensive.
