Hi, my name is Misty Dartez. At age 3 mom and dad got in car wreck I came outta my car seat hits the dash board

They all went to hospital I was one them had high fever they sent us home few week or months they came to pick me up at my grandparents house. My mom blew the horn

..called my name I never look up that when they realize, they took me to Dr. They told them that I was deaf. Had a special hearing aid for me with box on my chest and wire to my ear. They sent me to deaf school at age 3. After I started new job with Common Energy Services on Aug 9th 2022 I had hearing aid problem so I went to Dr. in Lake Charles. Dr Ram is his name he has been my ear Dr. since I started school at age 3

He looked at me and said Mis it time for new hearing aid, this aid is old I gonna said 8 yrs old or more. I not embarrassed to wear hearing aid cause I love to hear sounds, with out sound I seem like I can just sleep be lazy and also wouldn't even drive .. I told him I can't afford it after he told me how much it be. Got approved for 2 new hearing aid then he said Mis I think you be better off with CI co implant. With this being said Misty just wants a shot to be able to hear again, and be able to hear her grandkids one day! We all know how medical bills and taking off work can pile up and stress someone out. Misty will be down for a couple months or so without being able to do anything. With that being said if you feel led to donate anything will help, if not that’s completely ok your prayers will do everything we need!
