Hello!

Sadly, Misty has developed some kind of issue that has left her vomiting regularly, including with blood. So far all test have come back clear and she's been referred to a hospital for further investigation,

I've been quoted between £2500-4000 depending on what happens, and she's currently insured but not for such a huge amount. I'm hoping to pay as much of it as I can myself, but sadly I earn don't have the spare funds, and don't have the excess money on hand so will have to take out a payment plan. I'm setting up this fund for anyone who would be kind enough to assist her in this investigation stage.

She's still got a lot of energy and life in her, and hasn't lost any quality of life with this condition. (I've just lost quality of carpet haha).

So far the agreed investigation is as follows,

Extensive bloods, plus pancreas investigation

Ultrasound

CT scan (which is the hefty price tag)

I've been advised endoscopy (which is what likely pushes it up to 4k) however this is something I may refuse to put her through depending on findings.

Misty has been to the hospital! Our expected quote is £1900 currently and I'll be looking to adjust the GFM accordingly shortly,

She's had multiple tests and scans, and though her internals do show irritation from the vomiting, there's nothing worryingly out of place. The vets have theorised that this could be an allergic reaction, potentially to her wet food, and so she's banned from wet food for a few weeks to see whether she settles down

Thank you all so much for your help so far!! Hopefully this ends here and it's just an unusual allergic reaction suddenly; though the vets have advised if it continues, she'll need checking again and potentially more surgical routes taken ;-; but right now, I'm just happy to get my baby home honestly. She'll be back home this evening and hopefully she can start her recovery. I'll keep this page updated!
