On 5/13 My momma went to the hospital in extreme pain in her back and was unable to eat. She was immediately put into emergency surgery,  and had another surgery the following day. After that surgery, she was medivaced to Providence in Anchorage, where she had another surgery. She was diagnosed with Necrotizing Fasciitis.  This is a VERY dangerous illness and this will be a long healing process. She was sent back to Fairbanks on 5/28, and will remain at Denali Center for wound care and healing.
Mom is the sole provider for her household, and she works VERY hard at her 2 jobs. She doesn't  like to ask for help at all, so I decided to create a gofundme for her, because she has been out of work for just over 2 weeks already, and will be out of work for an unknown amount of time still. She is one of strongest, sweetest, kindest people I have ever known. She is always thinking of her family and friends first, and has helped many of her family and friends financially when they needed it.  My goal is just to help her with medical expenses and day to day living expenses while she is out of work, so she can focus on healing and not have to worry about how to pay the bills. Let's get this done for her, like she has done for so many other people!
