Hi everyone — I was encouraged to share my story and start this fund me, so here it is.

I’m a 43-year-old single mom of two, doing everything I can to hold it together. I receive no child support, and unfortunately, the system can’t enforce payments when someone works under the table. So it’s been me — solely providing for my kids, fighting through medical challenges, and pushing forward as best as I can.

I’ve worked hard all my life, including years as a chef, often managing kitchens by myself — even through pain caused by an autoimmune disorder. I’ve never been afraid of work, but my health has recently hit a serious wall.

I had my gallbladder removed on April 21st, 2025, and since then I’ve been hospitalized four times for chronic pancreatitis. This has left me unable to work consistently and has completely drained my savings. I’m doing everything I can — picking up odd jobs when possible — but with car issues, rising expenses, and my health struggles, it’s not enough to stay afloat.

I’ve applied to numerous jobs, but responses have been few and far between. I’ve also started the process of applying for disability, but as many know, that takes time. Right now, time is something we’re running low on.

Please, first and foremost — pray for us. And if you feel led to help in any way, it would mean more than you know. If you have any small jobs or catering needs within what I can physically handle, I’d love to hear from you. I have one project I’m trying to complete soon, but I’m in need of more steady income to keep our home and fix our vehicle.
