misty's ferret rescue we need your support ❤️

Hello everyone.

I’m Angela ,I’m 48 years old , I am a disabled lady due to inflammatory autoimmune diseases. psoriatic arthritis, and lupus are blood disorders that attack healthy joints, organs and tissues in the body which causes widespread pain and joint damage. It also causes low mood, and can be quite debilitating most days, which led me to retire work life about 3 years ago. I have a multitude of health problems, but despite that I do my best to stay as positive as I can.

I have a love and passion for all animals but particularly ferrets. Ferrets are complex furries and so misunderstood, they are such adorable cute creatures, very intelligent and extremely playful, they are curious, mischievous but also loving. Ferrets can a be very fearful from neglect , or from not being handled or have been mistreated and can give a nasty bite.

Did you know that almost 70% of ferrets end up having one or more of the diseases that they are prone to, such as Lymphoma, adrenal disease and insulinoma. But there are many more illnesses they could have and as an owner it’s important to know as much about these beautiful creatures and the illnesses that they could potentially have as possible, especially middle aged ferrets which is around 3/4 years old.

I believe ferrets deserve to have someone to look out for them someone to love them and care for them, as I do so with that in mind

I’m setting up this go fund me account to help ferrets in need in memory of my late ferret misty who was my best friend, she brought so much joy into my life, made me smile when I didn't feel like but sadly passed away in April due to splenic cancer, which was heart breaking, I miss her so much.

I want to convert my beaten up old shed into a rescue centre for ferrets to be loved and cared for , rehabilitated and re-homed with hopefully their forever homes.

I’m not only looking to fund the shed but to build a run / play area for them and funds for the cost of their care, food, medical needs etc. Since Misty passed away I have already recused and adopted 3 ferrets, Luna , wasabi and Connie, which is very rewarding but already proving a struggle financially.

If I could go to work and earn extra money I would, but due to my ill health I cant.

So I’m asking you kind people if you can’ spare anything to help me set this up it would be greatly appreciated.
