My name is Amber and I am creating this GoFundMe me for my friend Misty Sharp. She is a 33 year old mother of 3 (13, 10, and 6) who was unexpectedly diagnosed with stage 3b cancer specifically Hodgkin's Lymphoma which is a blood cancer.

The treatments ABVD chemos (4 different kinds of chemos) are

1) Adriamycin (aka Red Devil -Doxorubicin)

2) Bleomycin

3) Vinblastine

4) Dacarbazine

and are some of the harshest chemotherapies around. She has also become Neutropenic during treatments meaning her white blood cell count is super low and even catching the common cold she wouldn't be able to fight that infection off and would need to be hospitalized at the least and treated for sepsis as it could be fatal for her and even a temp of 100 is considered a medical emergency for her. This means she can't work and can't even take care of her kids regularly as kids have a lot of germs that could compromise her well being. This means her husband has had to miss a ton of work for her treatments and to take care of her and their children.

Bills are starting to pile up, gas is getting extremely high and with little to no income it is making it difficult to get her to her necessary appointments. She is losing her hair and can't afford a wig or even scarfs. They are struggling to keep necessities in the house like laundry soap, shampoo and conditioner, and dish soaps. She has applied for disability but it is a long process and IF she gets it she won't see money for months to years.

Misty hates reaching out for help as she is usually the one to help others as a friend, family member and in her roll as an active Girl Scout leader and volunteer in the community, so I wanted to make this GoFundMe to help lessen her families burdens financially. There are limited resources out there for help so if you happen to know of any please comment them and I will help her look into them!
