Many of you know my mom, Misty, and what a loving, generous, and selfless person she is. She has always given so much to others and would never ask for help herself.

Misty’s friends, family, and beloved clients mean so much to her, and she wants more than anything for them not to worry as she goes through this journey.

This will actually be the second time Misty has faced cancer. Her strength and resilience is inspiring, but it also makes this chapter even more difficult. She was recently diagnosed with lung cancer (adenocarcinoma) and will soon undergo surgery to remove the lower portion of her left lung. While we are hopeful in her treatment, the medical bills and the time she may need away from work are creating a heavy burden. This fundraiser will support both Misty and my dad, Tom, as they navigate this procedure and the challenges of life post-op together.

More than anything, we want Misty to recover and remain healthy so she can continue being the best Mimi in the world to her five grandbabies, who adore her beyond words.
