Misty and Victor have been our bestest of friends for over 13 years. I'll never forget the time that Misty and I prayed over 10 years ago when her Chronic Kidney Disease had taken a turn for the worse. She managed her disease for a long time but May of 2016 she went into End Stage Renal Disease, which as she said is pretty self explanatory. Dialysis, catheters, grafts, scary nights, lots of prayers and now they are getting some great news! Victor is a match, that is a great step in the right direction. I am not sure of the other steps needed to get everything in order, but she found out recently that it could go very quickly!

Victor is a police officer in Gun Barrel City. Misty was doing medical transcription from home, but dialysis 3-4 hours a day, 4 days a week and homeschooling her two children, it was not possible to keep this up. Therefore, they are a one income family of 4. She has received some assistance with Kidney Foundation and Medicare, but it still leaves a huge financial burden. Once the transplant occurs, Victor will be off of work, they will have deductibles, and anti-rejection meds for Misty, that could cost upwards of $500 per month.
Please consider helping this police officer, his homeschooling wife and their 2 children during this financially, emotionally and physically taxing season of their lives.
