On October 30th, 2021, the world lost a superwoman with a shining heart. Misty Ann Thomas (our sweet mother), passed away due to severe Covid-19 complications. She was the kind of woman any person could love on sight. She was the kind of woman that could make the whole room crack-up in laughter. Her smile and charisma was genuine and turned heads like you wouldn't believe. She was a phenomenal cajun chef, a passionate and gifted hair stylist, an advocate of the outdoors, a hot spring lover, but most of all she was a powerhouse mother. That's not even half of it all. She raised three children as a single parent and never once did we lack or doubt the love that she had for us. Despite every bump in the road that life offers, she would just laugh it off and keep on going. If she were here today she would look at us three kids and say "You guys are going to need to pull up your britches and be strong". So that's what we are going to do. The most painful thing you'll ever go through is losing the person who was closest to you, who taught you everything you know and loved you unconditionally. For us right now, there are a lot of things that we are going to need to do for her and we need help doing it. I know that a lot of you who knew our mother and loved her so deeply, if that is the case and you want to help us please help us by donating to this GoFundMe. This money will be going into the whole process, from cremation to the memorial and Misty memorabilia. The details of the memorial will be announced once everything has been sorted out. Please know that we are all grieving this horrible loss the same, but it has been emotionally challenging for us to keep up with all of texts and calls.
