Help Misty Hinton win her battle against cancer!!!

A few weeks ago, we learned that our much loved Misty has been diagnosed with advanced stage Non Hodgkins Lymphoma, more specifically, Diffuse Large B Cell Lymphoma. This devastating news has rocked the world for all of us who know and love her so much. Misty has always been a hard working, self sufficient person who would be reluctant to ask for help from anyone. We honestly have no choice in this situation but to reach out and ask the people who know and also love her to please help us to help her.

The doctors have told us that they are going to battle this cancer with a very aggressive form of chemotherapy. This treatment, without a doubt, is going to be debilitating. Her doctors have already advised her that she will most definitely not be able to work while receiving treatment. Being a bartender, surrounded by people, would put her at too great of a risk with her compromised immune system. As we all know, the bills don’t stop coming in when we face any kind of personal crisis. Our goal is to try and raise enough money so that we can take this additional worry off of Misty and her husband, Art’s, shoulders so that they can focus on her fighting and ultimately beating this nasty cancer. Sadly, there are not many people in this world who will not be touched or affected by cancer. When it is not yourself or someone that you love very much going through this, it is very easy to just go on with your own life and not really pay attention and feel for what another person is suffering through. We could all be in this situation at any time. Cancer does not discriminate.

The next year for Misty is going to the hardest of her life, but we believe in her! If we could all come together to support her, that would truly make a difference in her battle. Whatever you can donate is greatly appreciated. Prayers are also so very welcome as it is God that we are turning to for guidance and strength as she navigates this path.
