Missy’s Surgery GoFundMe
Donation protected
Hi, I am Sharon Diehl, dog mom to Missy, a nine-ish year old Yorkshire Terrier who spent her first 8 years in a cage with little to no human contact. She was just used for breeding and her long term ear infections were never addressed, leaving her in pain and with a permanent head tilt.
I started fostering her through Foothill Dog Rescue of the Sierras in December 2021 right after the first of two Ear Ablation surgeries. That’s an end-stage option to clear up the ear infection. The first surgery was successful, but the second surgery has continued to be problematic. She now needs a Bulla Osteotomy surgery to remove infected bone.
As you can imagine, these surgeries are expensive. I adopted Missy in June of 2022. The Foothill Rescue has covered her past surgeries and are helping with this one. They are amazing. Between surgery, meds, tests, follow up we are looking at more than $6500. Any financial help is deeply appreciated for this precious dog my heart has gone out to. Both the rescue and I know that this little girl, who has gone through so much pain and abandonment, deserves a pain free life.
Thank you.
Please note: Any funds received that go beyond Missy’s treatment will go to Foothill Dog Rescue of the Sierras.
