hi my name is Sandy and I’m writing this for my dog, Missy, who is extremely unwell as she not been spayed.

i took my lovely Missy on 3 years ago, from people that had overbred her, and when they no longer wanted her, as she was no use to them no more and coukd make no more money for them, they gave her to me. She is everything to me, I love her more than life itself. I’ve been asking for 3 years, the PDSA to spay her, but always some excuse not to do it, despite Missy is an American Pit Bull, pink fur breed, I believe she came from America as a baby. She is the most gorgeous, friendliest, laid back, daft dog, I have ever met in my life, the only way she coukd hurt you, is if you got a whack iff her constant wagging towel, or she sits on you. She has had a much better life with me, I would protect her with anything. For a non related reason, the police came to see me, she let them in and as they sat down, she laid across their fee, they were making a big fuss of her, and wanted to take her home with them.

there is a little boy that was petrified of dogs, and Missy would just lay down in front of him, like she knew, he started to stroke her and she was so gentle with him, that he no longer fears dogs, she has changed many peoples attitudes regarding this breed of dog, she is a very special girl in every way. She had no aggression in her what so ever. Everybody falls in love with her from the Postman to the Vets,

I really can’t lose her when I have tried to do the right thing by her.

the vet bills are more than I can afford right now, I was charged £500 at the emergency vet, and Celia Hammonds has come to the rescue and her treatment will be £450 all together, this is because she’s a 57kg big girl. Without the surgery, I will have to put her to sleep, which to those who no me, would just kill me, she’s 10 . Please can anyone help, I feel a bit strange asking people for money, in today’s climate. I thank you all from bottom of my heart and Missy will have some good health for a change
