Missy Memorial Bench at Glyndebourne Opera
Donation protected
As Missy's friends and family know, one of the places where she felt happiest was at Glyndebourne Opera. Many of us joined her on summer outings there, and remember the picnic of carefully prepared smoked salmon sandwiches and generous amounts of prosecco which she plied us with before the evening's performance. It became a tradition for Missy to spend special moments of her life there - whether 21st or 30th birthdays with her parents, or taking Henry and her friends so they could share the experience with her.
We would like to continue this tradition in her name and fundraise for a Missy memorial bench, which will live in the grounds of the Glyndebourne estate and be a place for many more happy picnics and opera outings for her friends and family.
As our first fundraising challenge, Aileen, Tach, Ellie and Haz are running a 10km race in Richmond Park on 22nd March 2020. We fully encourage you to take part in the race and fundraise with too using this gofundme page. Otherwise, we'd love as many people as possible to come and support, and join us in the pub afterwards for a drink where we can all remember and celebrate Missy.
