My neighbor and her adorable pooch, Birch, were walking local trails when she was exposed to what seems like a stash of street drugs. She's been hospitalized for 5 nights at emergency care. After a scary week, she is slowly improving, but the care is very expensive. My neighbor is a teacher in the public schools. What started out as a beautiful Sunday has turned into a nightmare.
