I am very excited to announce that I have been selected as one of the final contestants for the 2016 Miss World America pageant. Miss World America is the prelimenary pageant to the Miss World stage. This is an incredible and prestigious stage for me to showcase my diverse background and talent as a young Nepalese American female.
This years the Miss World America pageant will take place on July 8, 2016 at the Gaylord Hotel at the National Harbor in Washington, DC. I would like to extend an invitation to you and your family to please join and support me on this date if time permits.
The Miss World America Competition will consist of 5 challenges where contestants earn points for each performance, similar to that of Miss World: Beauty with a Purpose, Sports & Fitness, Top Model (Evening Gown, Beachwear), Multimedial and Interview. The coveted title of Miss World America, and the opportunity to compete at Miss World will be bestowed upon the contestant with the highest overall score and prestigious state titles will be awarded to the highest ranking contestants of each state. The 2016 Delegation will carry on as goodwill ambassadors for Beauty with a Purpose, promoting leadership and activism worldwide.
In an effort to help me get closer to the Miss World crown, I want to reach out to the entire Nepalese community in hopes of getting your support to sponsor my journey to this pageant. There is a $2000 sponsorship fee that the contestants must raise to contribute to prizes, accommodations, and the Miss World America pageant fees. Since the Nepalese community has been a tremendous asset to my success and has been a contributing factor to my interest in participating in the Miss World America pageant as the first Nepalese female to represent the US in an international pageant, I want to reach out for your support once again.
Please be a part of my journey into the 2016 Miss World America pageant and contribute in any amount possible.
