James Di Giacomo Wins at The IndieFEST Film Awards -- Our quirky comedy just won its first award at a respected film festival. Our TV pilot stars Patty McCormack (The Bad Seed), Dot Jones (Glee), James Kyson (Heroes), character actor Art LaFleur and yours truly.
I am trying to raise money so that I can submit my TV pilot to the various film festivals that have a TV category. Your funds will also assist with travel expenses as some of the festivas have asked me to attend, but I cannot afford travel and hotel expenses to do so. I did not work my whole life to get to this point and then give up!
Generally festivals charge an entry fee anywhere between $25 - $75 depending on the festival and their deadline. I would like to submit to as many as possible and to festivals abroad. I used almost all my savings to make this and to pay most of my crew and cast. This is why I need your help to continue getting as much exposure as possible -- So donate as little as $5 or as much as $100. Every bit helps me submit to another ferstival.
As a kid I always found people like Dame Edna to be absoultely hilarious!!! I also have a huge admiration for British comedies, which explains how my TV show came about.
