Mississauga SW - Off to Nationals in Saskatoon!

The Mississauga SW Hurricanes earned a berth to complete as Ontario ‘Team One’ at the 2022 U15 Softball Canada’s Nationals to be held at the Gordie Howe’s Sports Complex in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, August 3 through 7. Mississauga is one of three teams who will be representing Ontario. Before the pandemic, this team aspired to represent Ontario in 2020 and 2021; this is the first national championship series since 2019. Under the leadership of Head Coach Penny Gatza, this team has won three “A” level/tier one Provincial Championships since the team’s inception in 2017. Our motto is: Team first. Although we have very strong individual players, we have taught the players that through teamwork, cooperation, patience and hard work, we can achieve our goals.
