Missions Trip to Nicaragua! Love is a Universal Language ❤️

Good Morning!

Today's a great day to have a great day! (That's what I tell our kids most mornings )

Just wanted to do another update because we're quickly closing in on the deadline of the 30th.

We had a video call this week with the Director of Operations at Ambassadors to the Nations, Todd, so the kids got to "meet" the leader of the trip. It was such a good conversation and he has a very big heart for missions and sharing the love of Jesus wherever he goes. He was made for this! He not only provided helpful information but made each one of the kids feel like they're a valuable part of the trip. He is the one who told us that "love is a universal language" and that it goes far beyond spoken language barriers.

So we will go and allow the big love of Jesus to shine through us to everyone we meet to the tune of 500-700 kids and people a day.

What a privilege!! ❤️‍

Donations have continued coming in and we rejoice greatly and take what we call "praise breaks" with our kids - to keep our eyes fixed and our minds focused on the One who provides for ALL our needs. We recognize His provision and THANK HIM - for we have SO much to be thankful for!!

Our goal was to raise $11,250 and as of this morning, we're at $7,901!! That means we only need $3,349 to meet that goal. Yay Jesus!

It's not too late to give. We will receive with joy a financial gift of partnership of any amount.

Praise Party Time!!! Our roundtrip flights from Miami to Managua, Nicaragua have been purchased!! ✈️✈️✈️✈️

We're still looking to raise $5250 BEFORE June 30th for flights to Miami and the remaining balance of the trip and it's NOT too late for you to partner with us!!

You are the One who makes a way! Thank you for blessing the works of our hands and for promising that whatever we set our hands to do will prosper!! Thank you Father! Thank you Jesus! Thank you Holy Spirit! You could truly never be praised enough!!

UPDATE:

We are now OVER halfway to our goal!!!

We have seen God do Ephesians 3:20 repeatedly while we've been working diligently with the kids to personally sell anything and everything we can to raise money and He's been giving us more than our asking prices. For example, we listed a couch for sale for $100 and had 53 people want it and the lady who came gave us $250 for it! Another lady gave $20 for a $15 item!

We have now been able to contribute $2,000 that we absolutely didn't have to the trip ourselves and our kids are getting to see first hand how He WILL do exceedingly above ALL we ask, think, or imagine according to the power (>>that'd be HIM<<) at work within us!! What a fun adventure we get to be on walking with Jesus!!

He is going to do amazing things in, with, and through us and we cannot wait to share the Love of Jesus with the people of Nicaragua in 5️⃣0️⃣ DAYS!!! The eight of us are believing for innumerable salvations, opportunities to make disciples, opportunities to lay hands on the sick and see them recover, for miracles and signs and wonders to follow us wherever we go, and for seeds of hope to be planted so deeply in hearts and minds that fear would flee and foundations would become unshakable in Jesus' name!!

We still need to raise about $5,600 to cover the basic expenses of the trip but anything beyond that would be a tremendous blessing to help with food, gratuities, and transportation to and from Miami as well!

We believe the Lord has put it on our hearts to take our family of eight on their first Missions Trip and we have an opportunity to travel this summer to Nicaragua with Ambassadors to the Nations, which is an organization we've been blessed to partner with by sponsoring six children in a feeding/school program in Las Maderas for the last 4 years.

In faith, we sent in our deposit and secured our spots because faith without works is dead.

The trip is July 30th - August 5th and we need to raise $3,250 for the trip itself and another $8,000 for airfare. We know this seems like a lot but we also know that our God shall supply ALL our needs according to His glorious riches in Christ Jesus! We've seen Him do it before and we know He'll do it again!
