The public school system in NYC is a tad hectic right now, to say the least. Some schools are lucky to have a strong Parent Teacher Association that amongst other roles, provide materials from parent donations to get what their students need that the city can't provide. Most schools in New York City don't have a PTA for fundraising purposes, because they simply can't raise money.
Schools don't have enough laptops/Ipads for every child to do work remotely. How can the city have kids work at home for part of the week, but not have the materials for every kid to do so?? Not fair.
Please donate what you can so we can send computers to these children. They cost between $300-500 each. The more people involved, the more computers we get to send out. PLEASE HELP!
