Mission work in El Salvador

I have been going on a mission trip to El Salvador for two years now, and I feel that God has called me to humbly serve him there. In a place with such anguish, poverty, and violence I have never met more faithful and loving people in my entire life. Any money donated would go towards paying to stay in the safe-house which provides refuge for orphaned children and teenagers who have no other place to go. The money I would pay to stay essentially goes towards upholding the house. It would also go towards supplies for youth groups, such as Bibles that they can carry with them to chucrch, small groups,etc. I would need the funds by the time I leave which would be around late September. It would mean so much if this money could be raised, so that it could show the people whom I have met and shared close bonds with, that people do care about them. They are a people that are so oppressed, but they find their joy through Jesus Christ, isnt that how we are all supposed to live?

I have learned in my time there that the people who have lost the most have the most to give, now its our time to give.
