Hello Friends and Family,

My name is Edgardo Mejia. Thank you for reading my story. I was born in Honduras and moved to the United States when I was a teenager. In the U.S. I was blessed with so many things, including the plan of God for my life through faith in Christ.

One of the things that has really inspired me about God is his heart for anyone who wants to follow Him, and the opportunity to find true life. For many years, I dreamed of moving to Latin America to serve God. Earlier this year, I had the opportunity to move to Uruguay to be part of a mission team and replant the church in Montevideo.

I am asking for support to continue serving the church here in Montevideo for a year. Any money you give will serve the mission work here including my work as a worship leader, providing logistical help to our small church of eight disciples, encouraging the Uruguayans who have been faithfully waiting for the church to be replanted, sharing the gospel of Jesus and serving at a local school for low-income families. We also hope to use these funds to strengthen and plant churches in Argentina and Paraguay.

Any amount you are willing to give will help me so much to continue living in Uruguay and give myself to the cause for Christ. If you are not able to contribute money at this time, share with your friends and family too. Thank you!
