I have the opportunity to travel to Mokopane, South Africa this October with Destiny Church for a mission trip that means a lot to me. We’ll be working with the International Leadership Academy of South Africa through Reaching a Generation, where I’ll receive training on how to help direct and oversee the academy. The goal is to bring and develop the very first International Leadership Academy here in the United States, using what I learn to inspire and equip young leaders at home.

The academy’s vision is to empower students from 7th grade through their junior year of high school, encouraging them to create projects or businesses that make a real difference in their communities. Many of these students come from underprivileged backgrounds, and we’ll have the chance to support them and their families directly. I’m especially looking forward to participating in outreach, sharing hope, and helping to plant seeds that will grow into lasting change. This trip is also a chance for me to deepen my faith and return home with new inspiration to serve others.

Funds raised will help cover my travel expenses so I can be part of this mission. I’ll be working alongside other Destiny Church members, and together we hope to make a meaningful impact both in South Africa and back in our own community.
